Basket of Flowers Cake Decorating

Say it with flowers...and cake!

Join Evolved Wellbeing for Basket of Flowers Cake Decorating class on Saturday 3rd April @ 11.30am.

First, we will plan out our lovely posy of flowers & basket cake with colours and design, then we will create a sketch to guide us to our desired result.

Using an 8inch round cake that has been freshly baked for your convenience, we will layer & crumb coat our cake ready for decorating.

You will make your own batch of swiss buttercream & will colour as you see fit using the amazing array of colours on offer.

You will learn by demonstration, icing & piping techniques to create the visually stunning basket weave and we will explore different piping tips that will help us create our hand piped flowers ad greenery, as well as Russian flower tips to help fill in the gaps! We will have plenty of practice time to work through different piping techniques to get them perfected before decorating your cake.

Once you are ready, you will begin decorating!

Each participant will receive booklet of all the information learned during class including cake recipes, Swiss Buttercream, piping techniques, tips & tricks and more!

Upon completion, you will take home your Basket of flowers cake - ready for you gift to someone special or even enjoy yourself!

The beauty of this class is that you are learning foundation sugarcraft skills that can be used over a broad range of applications!!!

All equipment and ingredients are provided to make a fun, stress-free workshop!
