About the Event

We can't yet jet off to our favourite international holiday destinations, so enjoy the culinary delights of far off places... right here in Albany!

Enjoy a NEW workshop programme from Evolved Wellbeing ; Culinary Destinations, a series of "trips" designed to showcase international culinary hotspots whilst learning new cookery skills! 

Trip One takes us to three amazing destinations, known for their bold and memorable contributions to the culinary world!

First stop, we land in the culturally rich People's Republic of China. Here we will explore Modern Chinese cuisine in the ever-popular form of Bao! Fluffy pillows of steamed bread, stuffed with an array of fillings- perfect for entertaining & so many options for a flavour sensation!!!

The second leg of our journey takes us to India, in all her rugged beauty. We create from scratch,  2 styles of curry - chicken Tikka Masala & Palak/Saag Paneer and appetising condiments to compliment! We also try our hand at creating deliciously flaky paratha.

Our final destination sees us finish in the sweetest of spots... France. The French have been long renowned for their impeccable culinary prowess, especially that of all things sweet! Here we will create a bounty of traditional patisserie fare - Choux pastry that we will whip up into filled profiteroles, deliciously buttery Tart Tatin and of course, the iconic Crepe!

After travelling to our three amazing destinations during the workshops, you surely won't be missing the real thing!!!

TRIP ONE  CLASS SCHEDULE - 3 workshop event: 

Modern Chinese : Saturday 13th March @ 1.00pm

Indian Encounter : Saturday 27th March @ 1.00pm

French Patisserie : Saturday 10th April @ 1.00pm

This workshop is taught by Vicki Freeborough - an award winning chef with 15 years experience . We operate with small class sizes as the intimate class size allows the students to gain an indepth knowledge and personalised learning experience.

This class is packed full of information - Each session, you will be given a comprehensive folder filled with all the recipes that we create on the day and also plenty of tips and info on our destination! At the end of each session, you take your creations home to enjoy with friends & family!

The classes will run for approximately 3hrs each.

You are purchasing a ticket that covers the 3 above mentioned dates/times. 

Currently we are not offering classes individually. If one class in particular appeals to you, contact us for private workshop information.
