Mmmmm! Tomatoes, fresh basil, gooey cheese all on a plush bread base!!! Pizza Margherita was invented to honour an Italian Queen in 1889 & it has become one of the world's most famous pizzas! This workshop is certainly fit for royalty!!!
Essential Italian: Margherita & Mozzarella is a combination workshop that incorporates cheese and bread making. You will learn the foundations of pizza dough creation, flavoursome base sauce and will produce mozzarella! Dinner is sorted as you will be taking home your gourmet Pizza Margherita!
CLASS SCHEDULED: SATURDAY 4th APRIL at 1pm - 4pm
This workshop is limited to 4 students only, taught by Vicki Freeborough - an award winning chef with over 10 years experience. The intimate class size allows the students to gain an indepth knowledge and personalised learning experience.
In this class, you will gain hands on experience, making the following -
- Yeast levened pizza dough
- Napoletana sauce
- Mozzarella & it's derivatives; Bocconcini & Burrata
This class is packed full of information - You will be given the recipes that we make on the day (plus a few variations!), tips & tricks sheet, home pizza/cheese making "shopping list" and a special gift so you can continue to experiment at home!
At the end of the class, you will take home your creations - Pizza (baked to perfection), any remaining Napoletana sauce & cheeses.
The class will run for approximately 3 - 3.5hrs
You will may wish to bring a few jars to store your sauce & mozzarella for the journey home!
