Lasagna & Garlic bread... what a winning combo!
Learn to make an amazingly rich Beef Lasagna and make your own garlic bread too!
This cooking workshop is designed to introduce several essential kitchen skills, perfect for the young foodie in the house!
This workshop is taught by Vicki Freeborough, a trade Chef with 15 years in the industry. Places are limited to 4 students (between the ages of 12yrs - 16yrs *) to allow the students to gain an indepth knowledge and personalised learning experience!
In this class you will learn;
- Basic cooking principles : how to prepare & store produce, food hygiene, knife skills etc.
- How to make the perfect Béchamel Sauce
-How to create a rich beef sauce, complex in flavour & high in nutrition
- How to make simple bread dough & turn into artisan fresh hot bread
During the class, the students will create their own full sized lasagna and loaf of garilc bread - of which they will take home on completion... No need to cook dinner!!!
The student will also receive a comprehensive folder filled with all the recipies carried out in class (and a few bonus recipes too!) and a list of helpful introductory cooking terminology, tips & tricks to help further your skills at home!
This class will run for approximately 3 Hours.
Aluminium tray will be provided for the lasagna, student will need to provide a tray to place hot lasagna on to transport home & a teatowel/container for garlic bread.
This class contains the use of animal products; meat, eggs & dairy, as well as gluten.

*This class is ONLY available to Teens 12-16years of age, this is an independent class - teens only (carers deliver and collect students only)
It is to parental/carer discretion that they deem their teen responsible & capable to participate in a cooking workshop where there is everyday calculated, managed risks in a commercial kitchen.
Carer is required to deliver and collect the student, our duty of care policies will not allow a child to leave the premises without a legal guardian.
