Dolly Cakes : Fancy frills & flowers

Perhaps it was the cake that made you envious as a child... or maybe you LOVE all things darling! This workshop explores the endless possibilities of Dolly Cakes!

Join Evolved Wellbeing for a Dolly Cake Decorating class on Saturday 10th April @ 9am.

You will arrive to class, with your beautiful dolly (as selected/purchased by you) & we will get settled into a morning of turning her into a gorgeous dolly cake creation with loads of frills & flowers!

First, we will plan out our beautiful dolly cake with colours and design & we will create a sketch to guide us to our desired result.

Using a cake that has been freshly baked for your convenience, we will layer & crumb coat our cake ready for decorating.

You will make your own batch of swiss buttercream & will colour as you see fit using the amazing array of colours on offer.

You will learn by demonstration, icing & piping techniques to create your doll's dress. We will explore different piping tips, including Russian flower tips! We will have plenty of practice time to work through different piping techniques.

Once you are ready, you will begin decorating!

Each participant will receive booklet of all the information learned during class including cake recipes, Swiss Buttercream, piping techniques, tips & tricks and more!

Upon completion, you will take home your fabulously frilly & floral dolly cake - ready for you gift to someone special or even enjoy yourself!

The beauty of this class is that you are learning foundation sugarcraft skills that can be used over a broad range of applications!!!

All equipment and ingredients (except for a doll) are provided to make a fun, stress-free workshop!
